What is unique with the Innowalk Pro?

Innowalk Pro is extremely compact end-effector device, providing full-body robotic therapy in standing with weight-bearing. It has a very small footprint, only 2m2, which is unique within robotic therapy devices and enables use in even small facilities or directly in a patient's room in an acute hospital setting. The device is equipped with an integrated transport solution for easy transfer within a facility and can easily be handle by one person.

It is also unique of its kind when it comes to adaptability. It only takes 5 minutes to adjust the device to a new patient/user, making sure that you as professional make the most out of therapy time.

A knowledgeable representative will train you on site with your patients at delivery to make sure you are comfortable in adapting the device to a wide range of patients and the use of the device is effective in daily clinical use. You will also get access to a digital training program.

What type of facilities does the Innowalk Pro fit into?

The Innowalk Pro is suitable in facilities like:

  • Hospitals
  • Rehabilitation centres
  • Clinics
  • Therapy facilities
  • Special school settings

Especially because of the small footprint and easy transfer between rooms it fits into so many different facilities.

In a hospital situation you might need to use robotic therapy directly in the patient’s room in an acute phase due to shielding of the patient. Or in a therapy facility you lack space for equipment. Or in a special school setting you would like to have the option of moving the device into a classroom.

Patients with such diagnosis can be in very different phases during the rehabilitation process and we have experience that the Innowalk Pro is suitable all the way from an acute to chronic phase. Even very severely affected and complex patients with for example scoliosis, reduced range of motion in joints, challenging pathology movement pattern or with cognitive challenges can be positioned comfortably in the Innowalk Pro.

Easy transfer in and out

  • A swivel seat with low entry height allows for a safe and gentle transfer into the device, either independently or with assistance.
  • Swing away leg supports further simplifying the transfer.

The swivel seat and swing away leg supports enable the patient to be more actively involved in the transfer, for example, from a wheelchair. The patient can come close to the device and the seat can be positioned at an equal height as the wheelchair. If the patient requires assistance during the transfer, it limits the physical load on therapist or assistant.

Sit to stand

The starting position in the Innowalk Pro is sitting. When the patient is secured by the support system, they are ready to move into standing. The movement from sitting to standing is stepless and allow positioning anywhere between sitting to full straight standing. This can be used to compensate contractures or other medical considerations. It also enables the patient to take a rest in a sitting position without the hassle of getting out of the device. Flexibility ensures that patients make the most out of their training session, regardless of physical capacity.

High comfort

  • Thick padding on the leg supports, chest support and seat.
  • Low friction due to no use of harness in standing with movement.
  • A tilt in space angle provides stability and comfort for those with poor trunk and head control.
  • A large and sturdy tray can be used to give even more support of the trunk in complex patients.

Altogether, this makes it comfortable to use the Innowalk Pro and enable even complex patients to use the device.
